I am passionate about music and began learning classical piano as a young child. I obtained a Bachelor of Music degree from Newcastle University in 2011 with First Class Honours, followed by a Master of Music degree in 2012, for which I was awarded an AHRC scholarship for composition. I spent one year studying at Concordia University in Montreal, with a focus on instrumental and electroacoustic composition.
I love to play classical, contemporary and film music, as well as compose my own music, improvise and play with others. I have performed as a session musician, for theatre and at UK music festivals. I currently play in various Bristol bands and teach adults and children both privately and in schools.
I have experience working with young children and young people with special educational needs and behavioural difficulties.
